A thriving and vibrant local economy is critical to long-term sustainability of Karansi. Ubora believes that business is a tool that God can use to transform lives. We provide practical training seminars for business owners, coaching and mentoring for recent college graduates, expert resources for agricultural programs, and ideas and capital to start new businesses that can scale.
Impact:
40 shop keepers trained in basic accounting, profit/loss, and inventory during our 2019 seminar
40 villagers (half were women) trained in agriculture practices through ECO
Pilot program established for US mentors to work with Tanzanian graduates
SHEFO hog farm established to provide practical experience in raising and marketing livestock
Jobs provided for secondary school graduates waiting for university placement through a pilot program for data entry on behalf of a U.S. client.
